A friendly competition featuring 500-piece jigsaw puzzles is being put together in Wyomissing for this October, and challengers are invited to reserve their spots.
The Jigsaw Puzzle Competition, which is presented by the American Association of University Women, will welcome teams to the Wyomissing Public Library soon, where they will put the power of their minds together in a race to beat the clock and the other competitors. The format allows for teams of two, and each team has two hours to complete their 500-piece puzzle.
Teams will have time to look at and choose a puzzle design that stands out to them. The competition is open to beginners and experienced puzzle-solvers alike. The top three teams will receive prizes for their accomplishments, adding to the stakes of the competition. Flyer printing can give organizations ideal marketing materials for bulletin boards and other busy areas in town, leading to greater awareness of events like this.
The money raised at the competition will benefit the AAUW Reading Branch, which has the stated goal of advancing equity for girls and women pursuing their education. The competition will allow the brand to host similar events in the future.
The Wyomissing Public Library on Reading Boulevard is hosting the competition. Teams are asked to arrive by 12:45pm on Saturday, October 17th. Registration is open online and costs $25 per two-person team.
