A memorable fundraiser is being organized in Wyomissing this summer with the goal of bringing the community together and raising funds for community programs and initiatives.
The Roaring Stacks: A Speakeasy Soiree at the Library is preparing to open its doors and welcome guests later this August, bringing attendees into a 1920s setting among the stacks. Guests are welcome to dress for the event’s Roaring Twenties theme to add to the atmosphere at the Wyomissing Library’s inaugural fundraiser for the year.
The fundraising party will feature food, refreshing beverages, entertainment, and music to ensure that energy levels stay high as Wyomissing residents rally for a good cause. Organizations and businesses in town are welcome to help sponsor the Soiree, with these sponsors also getting a chance to build brand awareness and create new relationships with potential customers via flyer printing and other marketing channels.
A silent auction will be held to give participants an opportunity to win collectibles and prizes. The money raised by the auction and the Soiree will support the library’s programming, services, and resources. The library is also happy to accept any donations of priceless experiences, sports tickets, and gift cards to add to the excitement.
The Wyomissing Library, located at 9 Reading Boulevard in Wyomissing, will host the fundraiser. It starts at 7:00 PM on Saturday, August 29th. Tickets cost $100 per attendee online.
