The Celtic Comeback Challenge is set to occur near Quakertown next month.
The annual Celtic Classic is a large, three-day Celtic festival with free admission that has taken place each year in September with thousands of attendees. After the popular event was postponed from its original date in 2020 to 2021, the Celtic Cultural Alliance organized the Celtic Comeback Challenge to serve as a fundraiser for next year’s scheduled festival in Bethlehem.
This virtual running challenge features a set goal of 51.4 miles, which is the same distance as a run between the Spanish Arch in Galway to the Cliffs of Moher. Participants may complete the distance through jogging, biking, or walking.
Since it began on Tuesday, September 15, the Celtic Comeback provides registrants with chosen timeframes of at least one week or more to complete the entire 51.4-mile distance. The entry fee is priced at $30 per runner and anyone in Quakertown or other areas who is interested in supporting the Annual Celtic Classic can register online to participate. Poster printing serves as an easy way for the organizers of fundraisers to produce high-quality physical Copies of key event information to advertise to the public in highly trafficked locations.
This virtual running event is scheduled to continue throughout next month until its conclusion on Tuesday, December 15.
