Workshop shows Quakertown path to business success

There may be no better time than the present in Quakertown, and area residents who have thoughts of starting a mobile food business are in for a unique learning opportunity.

The New Year, New Career workshop is set to kick off the How to Start Up a Small Mobile Food Business session next month, providing budding entrepreneurs with a passion for food with the steps toward success. The event is designed to help attendees make their dreams of owning a food business a reality.

It is an ideal learning opportunity for those who wish to start a food cart, food truck, or catering business. The class will last 2.5 hours and cover a number of topics, and guests are encouraged to bring a pen or pencil and a notebook to capture all of the finer points. Printing services can provide professional printed materials for handouts or note-taking, improving the learning experience for those who attend such events.

Attendees will learn how to form an LLC, how and where to get a business license, discover the type of business insurance you’ll need, and learn the most effective marketing strategies for growing the food business.

The Nefarious Eats Community Kitchen in Quakertown will host the learning session on Saturday, January 10th, from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM. Tickets can be purchased online for $50 per person.
