Foodies and Quakertown residents who want to support their friends and neighbors are invited to a cookoff in town to determine who has the best chili.
The 2nd Annual Chili Cookoff, which will pair with the Quakertown Flannel Festival, will open to interested parties in a few weeks. Attendees will want to grab their favorite flannel shirt and bring their taste buds along to sample several different chili options and cast their votes for the ones that take their fancy.
The final judgement will be determined by the community before the crowning of the event’s champion. Community tasters will have access to all samples. In addition to tasting chili, attendees will get to listen to live music from local bands and artists and shop with local artisans and vendors. The chili cookoff and festival will be held at Triangle Park in downtown Quakertown. It is scheduled for Saturday, November 8, starting at 11:00 AM. Admission is free to all interested parties, and further details are on the AllEvents.in listing.
