Distance runners and Quakertown residents looking for a chance to push their endurance limits are in luck, as a 5K/10K is being organized in town.
The 2025 Jack-O-Lantern 5K/10K supporting Richland Township Fire and Rescue has a set date in the calendar for next month, bringing distance runners together to support a good cause. Attendees are welcome to walk, jog, or run the course while enjoying a Halloween theme. The gathering will feature four different events, including a 5K Run/Walk, 10K Run, Kids’ Dash, and a Pumpkin Challenge.
The proceeds from this year’s Jack-O-Lantern 5K/10K will benefit the Richland Township Fire and Rescue in their pursuit of purchasing a new ATV for quicker emergency response times. Runners will leave the finish line knowing they’re participating to help others and make a difference. Banner printing is a superb way to promote organizations and brands at such running events, creating an ideal adornment for the finish line.
Participants in the running events can use chip timing to discover their times. Finishers of each event will receive metals commemorating their accomplishments, and post-race refreshments will be made available.
The events will be held at 64 Shelly Road in Quakertown on Saturday, September 27th, from 8:00 to 11:00 AM. Registration costs $30 for the 5K, $36 for the 10K, and $6 for the Pumpkin Challenge online.
