Spring arts festival to return to Glenside

Downtown Glenside will host its 10th annual Arts Festival this April.

The event will include a selection of art vendors, wine and beer tastings, food trucks, and a children’s area. Local shops and restaurants will also be open for shopping and dining. The Downtown Glenside Foundation has more than 80 artists and craft vendors scheduled to attend. As this is a juried event, all vendors have completed an application to confirm that their products meet the festival’s quality standards. Vendor applications are now closed.

The festival is free to attend, though there will be plenty of food and art pieces available for purchase. It will take place on Easton Road, Glenside Avenue, and Wesley Plaza. All of the festival roads will be closed, so those attending should plan their routes accordingly. Street parking will be available on nearby side streets. The Glenside SEPTA station lot and the Bickley Street municipal lot will also be open. Attendees can also reach downtown Glenside by train or bus.

Renaissance Craftables, which specializes in planning high-quality juried art shows, is partnering with the Downtown Glenside Foundation, Cheltenham Township, and Arcadia University to produce the event. Organizations often use poster printing services to promote their local events.

The festival will take place on Saturday, April 27 from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm, rain or shine.
