The Greater Glenside Patriotic Association (GGPA) is hosting its annual three-part July 4th celebration this summer.
The day will begin with a Children’s Morning Program at Renninger Memorial Park at 10:00 am. During the morning program, GGPA will announce the winner of a raffle drawing for a quilt made from past Glenside 4th of July T-Shirts. Raffle entries are $20 each and must be submitted by Sunday, June 30. Details about how to purchase raffle tickets either online or at the Keswick Coffee House are available on GGPA’s website.
The next part of the celebration will be the parade at 4:00 pm. The parade features local groups and organizations, as well as multiple bands and performances. Parade participants often use banner printing services to display their group names at this sort of event.

The day will conclude with a fireworks show over the athletic and playing fields at Abington High School. All three parts of the celebration are free to attend and supported by GGPA’s year-round fundraising projects. The group has also provided a map of convenient parking locations on its website.
