Chamber to host womens business conference

The Chamber of Commerce for Greater Montgomery County is having its 11th Annual Power Your Potential women’s conference this fall.

The one-day conference will start with an hour for breakfast and registration. The program will include morning and afternoon keynote speeches, two Power Sessions where attendees can choose from four speakers, a coffee break, and lunch. After the formal conclusion, there will be a cash bar and networking time. Participants often use business card printing services to prepare for networking receptions.

The morning keynote speaker will be Ana Welsh, a professional speaker focused on workplace dynamics. Her talk will offer three simple, timeless principles for professionals of all generations to be more intentional in their work interactions.

Christine Miles will give the afternoon keynote. Miles is an author and speaker who will discuss listening to truly understand. The smaller Power Sessions will cover topics like overcoming imposter syndrome, networking with LinkedIn, and building sustainable, healthy habits.

The conference fee is $199, and it is open to women at any career stage working anywhere in the area, including Glenside and other Montgomery County towns. Refunds will not be available after September 18. Registration and the full schedule, including session descriptions, are available on the Chamber’s website.

Power Your Potential will be on Friday, October 2 from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm at Normandy Farm Hotel and Conference Center.
