Wyndmoor officials recently announced that a new development will include a coffee house, restaurant, and market that specializes in local produce, all within easy reach of Glenside.
The mixed–use project will be sited on East Willow Grove, and will offer 8,000 square feet for retailers on the complex’s ground floor. There are 10 two-bedroom condo units planned, to be located above the retail spaces.
The leasing agent, Gabe Amzallag, said the project is bringing together several community-focused concepts that are family-friendly. They will be enhanced by accessible parking and new construction, which will set this project apart from others.
Among those who have already leased space are Enza, an Italian restaurant that will serve pasta, pizza, and wine, as well as vegetarian options. A second tenant is Captain Andy’s Market, which is run by local resident Andrew Peszka. Captain Andy’s will feature meat, seafood, local produce, and prepared foods that are ready to take home.
Alana and Scott Davis will run Locals, a well-named coffee house. They plan specialty drinks, as well as breakfast sandwiches, a bagel bar, and light lunches. Tenants of a new project like this can distribute Promotional Products at their opening, to thank the first customers for stopping in, and to spread awareness of the new shop.
Since the new development is only three miles from Glenside, it will be easy for residents to make a quick trip to see what’s new in Wyndmoor.
