A new BBQ restaurant and microbrewery has come to Glenside.
Bill's Best Brewery recently opened its doors on South Keswick Avenue, where it will serve beers it brews in-house, as well as other local beers. The menu offers draft beers brewed at Bill's, such as the Due North New England India Pale Ale (NEIPA), their Due West Double IPA, and Random Task IPA.
The restaurant end of the business resembles a pub more than a sit-down restaurant, and has a very limited menu. Bill's offers a pulled pork sandwich or a veggie sandwich; its snacks are limited to potato chips and pretzels. However, it makes three different sauces, and allows patrons to pick up to five toppings for their sandwiches, including items like dill pickles, cheddar cheese, and bacon bits.
Bill Fehon started his company because he enjoys sharing his talents. He would help neighbors fix their cars and build their houses, and when he created his barbecue sauce, he gave it away to friends and family. He soon began selling it, and the business took off from there.
Bill's Best Brewery has been open since March 14, when they had a soft opening. At the moment, the eatery is open from 5:00 pm until 10:00 pm on Thursday and Friday; from noon until 10:00 pm on Saturday, and from noon until 8:00 pm on Sunday. New businesses such as this can start building brand recognition by distributing Promotional Products to early customers.
