Lacrosse day to be held in Glenside

Prospective lacrosse players will have a chance to learn more about the sport thanks to Arcadia University.

The university is hosting Men’s Lacrosse Prospect Day, a chance for high school students who might be interested in attending Arcadia University and playing lacrosse to learn more about both the school and the program. Athletes who attend will meet the lacrosse coaching staff, including Paul Mita, the head coach, who will work with the attendees. Brochure printing can be used to create pamphlets about opportunities at institutions like this.

The young people will be exposed to the university and its lacrosse program and have the opportunity to further develop the skills they need to play their chosen position. They will also be able to practice in a college environment, in front of the Arcadia lacrosse coaches. The day places special emphasis on helping players develop their skills and winds up with full-field competitive contests.

The schedule for the day is a 10:00 am check-in, followed by a simulated practice by the Arcadia Knights at 10:30 am. A lunch break is scheduled for 11:45 am, with attendees bringing their own lunches, and campus tours will be given at 12:30 pm. Games start at 1:45 pm, and the day winds up at 3:00 pm. Masks will be always worn unless the participant is eating or drinking, and attendees are expected to conduct themselves as befits a college setting.

The date for the fun is August 11.
