Hockey summer camp for Glenside

A summer camp for young hockey players has been scheduled in Glenside.

Arcadia University is offering their Field Hockey Summer Prospect Camp to high school students. Students will participate in drills at the college level, which will give them the chance to learn and develop their skills. They will also have a chance to spend some time at the university and chat with players and staff, which will be valuable for any students who are thinking of attending Arcadia.

To maintain the health of all participants, the university will distribute masks with the official Arcadia brand, which must be worn unless the student is drinking or eating. The university requests anyone who feels ill before the camp starts to remain home and request a refund.

Registration and payment are online, and participants also must complete and mail the “Indemnity Agreement” and the “Photograph and Publicity Release” Forms before the camp begins. Students may bring drinks and non-perishable snacks to camp and are expected to conduct themselves in accordance with the standards of the university. The camp is scheduled for July 30, July 31, and August 1. Students may attend one day ($75), two days ($130), or all three days ($190). The hours all three days are from 9 am until 2 pm, and the location is the Jean Lenox West Field at Arcadia University.
