The Eastern Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce Women’s Business Network is hosting a luncheon event focused on confidence and empowerment this fall.
The event will open with a half hour for check-in and networking before the program starts at noon. Jodi Silverman and Beth Allen will jointly present Flush Fear & Dare On. The talk is designed to help attendees move beyond fear and self-doubt, use connections with others to succeed and change their mindsets to become more resilient. Silverman and Allen plan to use a combination of audience engagement, humor and heart to provide an experience that will stick with participants long-term. Speakers often use printing services to prepare handouts for this type of interactive talk.
Jodi Silverman created the DARE method, which encourages women in midlife to work through challenges and pursue their dreams. In addition to speaking engagements, she runs a coaching program and a membership community. Beth Allen is the founder of DIY HIP Chicks, which teaches DIY skills to female homeowners.
Attendees need to purchase tickets on the Chamber website. The cost is $45 for both current and future members. The Eastern Montgomery County Chamber’s members include business owners from Glenside and other towns in the area.
The Women’s Business Network Luncheon will take place on Wednesday, November 19, from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm at Philmont Country Club.
