Glenside chamber to host wellness event

The Chamber of Commerce for Greater Montgomery County is hosting its 12th Annual Community Health and Wellness Fair this summer.

The fair features businesses and organizations that work on both mental and physical health. In past years, vendors have offered free vaccines and health screenings, samples, giveaways, and information about their products and services. Details about these offerings will be announced once the lineup of participating organizations is finalized. Vendors often give out promotional Pens or other items at this type of event.

Chamber members and other local businesses with health-related products or services are invited to sign up for a booth. Discounted rates of $150 for Chamber members and $250 for non-members are available until this Friday, July 25. The Chamber’s members include leaders and business owners from Glenside and other towns in the greater Montgomery County area. Registration will be open through August 11. Businesses interested in sponsoring the fair can email kim@chambergmc.org to discuss pricing and details.

The health and wellness fair is part of Lansdale’s Founder’s Day event, which also includes an art fair, farmers’ market, live music, tour of the district courthouse, and fireworks display. Details are available on the Discover Lansdale website.

The 12th Annual Community Health and Wellness Fair will take place on Saturday, August 23 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm during the Lansdale Founder’s Day celebration.
