Glenside chamber to host non-profit breakfast presentation

The Eastern Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce’s Not for Profit group is hosting a breakfast and conversation event this spring.

The event will include a talk and a light breakfast. Traci Connelly Goidas, who is the Direct of Development and Major and Planned Giving at the Montgomery County Community College Foundation, will give the presentation. The Foundation raises funds for student financial aid, faculty research, and other campus programs and activities. The discussion will cover the benefits of philanthropy that go beyond numerical measurements. Coffee and bagels will be served.

The breakfast is open to both members and guests. The Eastern Montgomery County Chambers is made up of members from Glenside and other towns in the eastern portion of the county. The event cost is $10 per member and $15 per non-member. Professionals often use business card printing services to help them exchange contact details with other attendees at this type of event.

The Chamber’s Non-Profit Initiative is a committee focused on the specific needs and goals of members who lead or work in non-profit organizations. These include peer-to-peer networking events and educational programs on topics like grant-seeking and working with a board.

The breakfast program will take place on Thursday, May 4, from 8:30 am to 10:00 am, at Lakeside Global Institute in North Wales.
