The Eastern Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce is partnering with Montgomery County Community College to host a business expo and job fair this November.
The event provides an opportunity for jobseekers and businesses to connect. The Chamber is inviting businesses from a range of industries to book booths at the fair, starting with those run by its members. These include business owners from Glenside and other towns in the eastern portion of Montgomery County. The job fair is free to attend.
Booths for companies are available for $425 for Chamber members and $600 for non-members. Discounted rates are available for certain types of employers. Non-profit organizations can reserve a spot for $350, while restaurants and caterers pay $100. Booths include a six-foot table with a table skirt, two chairs, a sign with the business’s name, and a listing in the expo guide. In addition to the included listing, businesses can pay for ad space in the guide. Black and white ad prices range from $100 to $400 depending on their size, while full-page ads in color are available for $500. Organizations often work with Print shops to produce this type of booklet.
The job fair and business expo will take place on Thursday, November 10, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, in the main gymnasium at Montgomery County Community College.
