The Chamber of Commerce for Greater Montgomery County and the Philadelphia chapter of POWER: The Power of Professional Women are hosting their 9th Annual Power Your Potential Women’s Conference this fall.
The conference is designed to bring professional women from across the region together for education, networking and inspiration. Attendees are both Chamber members, who include professionals and business owners from Glenside and other towns in Montgomery County, and others from the surrounding area.
Those planning to attend can register on the Chamber’s website. The cost is $175 per person. Participants will need to choose which breakout sessions they would like to participate in when they register. Topics include health tips and communication strategies. Descriptions of these sessions are available on the event page.
The conference will include breakfast, morning and afternoon keynote speeches, a coffee break, two breakout power sessions and lunch. Awards will also be presented. The Carney Group CEO Nanette Sciolla Carney is receiving the Woman of Excellence Award, and single mother and nonprofit program director Sara Sanders is receiving the POWER Award. After the official program ends, there will be a networking reception with a cash bar starting at 3:30 pm. Attendees often exchange Business Cards during conferences.
The 9th Annual Power Your Potential Conference will take place on Friday, October 18 from 8 am to 3 pm at Normandy Farm Hotel and Conference Center.
