Glenside chamber to continue networking lunch series

The Eastern Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce is hosting a networking lunch with a guest speaker who will discuss the state of the Philadelphia Airport.

The event is part of the Chamber’s monthly Power Luncheon series, which is designed to provide opportunities for connection and information about a topic relevant to local business owners. It will include time for networking and a sit-down lunch. Attendees often use business card printing services to prepare for networking events like this one.

The speaker, Atif Saeed, is the CEO of the City of Philadelphia Department of Aviation. In this role, he manages both Philadelphia International Airport and the smaller Northeast Philadelphia Airport. He previously worked for the Metropolitan Airport Commission of Minnesota, which manages Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport and six smaller nearby airports. Saeed will discuss the airports’ recent successes and plans for future projects to improve infrastructure and visitor experiences. The talk will focus on opportunities for businesses in the area.

Those planning to attend should sign up on the Chamber’s website. The cost is $55 for members and $75 for non-members. The Eastern Montgomery County Chamber’s members include business owners from Glenside and other towns in the area.

The State of the Philadelphia Airport luncheon will take place on Wednesday, February 19 from 11:30 am to 2:00 pm at Huntingdon Valley Country Club.
