Glenside Chamber event to discuss power of networking
The Eastern Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce’s Women’s Business Network is hosting its first luncheon of the year this January.
The event will begin with check-in and time for networking. Chamber of Commerce members often use business card printing services to prepare to exchange contact information at networking events. The lunch and speaker program, The Power of Connecting and Building Relationships, will begin at noon. Beth Allen will be interviewing Suzy Pratowski.
Allen hosts the talk radio show “The Empowered Homeowner” and runs DIY Hip Chicks, a business that offers courses and other resources for homeowners. These are designed to both build confidence and teach specific DIY skills. Pratowski runs an insurance company that serves individuals, families and small businesses. She also runs a series of networking lunches for women. Participants appreciate both the sense of community these provide and the concrete support other members are willing to offer.
Tickets for the luncheon are available on the Chamber’s website now. The cost is $49 per person for both current members and those interested in joining the Chamber in the future. The Eastern Montgomery County Chamber’s members include professionals and business owners from Glenside and many other towns in the area.
