Glenside area to take on February 5K run

The Bryn Mawr Running Company’s Feel the Love 5k is set to occur close to Glenside next month.

Runners who wish to take part in the 5K can register online at $35 per person. Those who would rather not attend in person but still wish to join in can opt for the virtual run for the same price as the in-person event. Event proceeds will help to support the Bryn Mawr Running Club and the Jefferson Hospital Parkinson’s Disease Foundation.

For the live race, registration will be available between 9:30 am and 11:00 am. At 11:00 am, the race will begin, and each runner division will start 10 seconds apart to allow for social distancing. All individuals who complete the race will receive 5K Finisher Medals.

Glenside participants involved in the virtual race are welcome to download the RaceJoy app to their phones in order to track their progress times and share their results. When hosting race-related events, the organizers often select poster printing to advertise throughout a wide variety of venues.

This 5K winter running event is scheduled to proceed on Saturday, February 13 at the Wilson Farm Park in Wayne. The virtual event will last from February 5 to race day to allow participants the time to complete the 5K run on their own schedules.
