Glenside area business to host wreath workshop

Herbiznet, a member of the Chamber of Commerce for Greater Montgomery County, is hosting a wreath-making workshop this November.

The Chamber is made of up businesses and business leaders from towns throughout the Greater Montgomery area, including Glenside. During the workshop, participants will learn to make a holiday wreath to hang on a door this festive season.

The event is open to anyone aged 15 and older, but women-owned businesses and those who want to support these businesses are especially welcome. Participants should register through the Chamber’s website by Sunday, November 12. The cost is $55, which includes all materials and supplies. Businesses often use flyer printing services to promote their seasonal events.

Herbiznet is an online platform that promotes women-owned businesses that sell handmade items. In addition to the digital listings, the group hosts workshops and craft fairs. Individuals and women-owned businesses interested in partnering with the company are invited to contact Herbiznet directly or attend the workshop to learn more. Some of the proceeds from the event will be donated to the Gulabis Foundation, a local nonprofit that works on several issues including breast cancer awareness, education, hunger, and support for healthy lifestyles.

The workshop will take place on Sunday, November 19 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Montgomery Township Community and Recreation Center.
