Chamber to mark International Womens Day with luncheon

The Eastern Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce is hosting a luncheon with a speaker to celebrate International Women’s Day this March.

The Chamber’s Women’s Business Network is partnering with the Montgomery County Chapter of BWNICE to host the event. Cheldin Barlatt Rumer will give the keynote speech, and CJ Bachmann will serve as the special guest MC. Rumer is the CEO and Executive Producer of This Is It Network, which creates and manages strategic marketing campaigns. The talk, titled “Scream Your Dream,” will encourage attendees to develop their personal brands.

Attendees can check in, network, and browse the Women’s Marketplace from 10:30 am to noon. The marketplace will feature displays from several woman-owned businesses. The lunch and presentation will begin at noon.

Those planning to attend should register in advance on the Chamber website. The cost is $50 per person for both members and guests. Those interested can purchase table space at the Women’s Marketplace for $200. This fee includes a table to display materials and admission to the event for one person. Businesses often use brochure printing services to provide information about the services they offer at this type of event.

The 2024 International Women’s Day Luncheon will take place on Friday, March 8 from 10:30 am to 2:00 pm at LuLu Country Club in Glenside.
