Exhibit explores history of Butler-built vehicles

A new exhibit is on display at a Butler venue that will shine a spotlight on the automobile industry that once called the area home, and it is being offered thanks to the cooperation between two local groups.

The Butler Chapter of the Antique Automobile Club of America and Experience Butler County have teamed up to present a special experience to the public. It may be of interest to gearheads and history buffs alike, and all ages are invited to check it out.

Admission to the "Butler Built Garageā€ will be free of charge, and it will be filled with vehicles that were designed and built by the American Bantam Car Company in Butler. The visitors can view and learn about the American Austin as well as the American Bantam Jeep, the Standard, The Huselton, and other cars. This history goes back to 1935, and produced the original Jeep back in 1940.

Museums and other venues that explore an area's past may require specialized Graphic Design Services that can produce items with a historical flavor. A banner printing company will be able to meet their needs and can work with most budgets.

The Butler Built Garage exhibit will be on offer at 110 Barracks Road in Butler. It will be open on February 15, March 15, and April 19, all of which are Sundays.
