A Butler County organization has cordially invited the public to attend a special fundraiser that will help to give companion animals a second chance at living the good life.
Presented by Leadership Butler, Dancing for a Cause takes place later this month and will be an excitement-filled fundraiser for the Butler County Humane Society. The friendly competition will see an assortment of local student dancers paired with area celebrities, and they will all compete for the top prize. Fairground Market will be catering the affair, and both the judges and audience will determine who wins. Beverages are covered by the ticket price, and basket raffles and an even-split draw will add even more excitement.
One of the goals for the activity is to raise funds for its dog enrichment area, and everyone who brings along a donation valued at least $10 will receive an entry in the bar cart raffle. Tickets for this night of giving back are $85 each, and it is scheduled for Friday, May 29, beginning at 6:00 pm.
