A special afternoon of music is coming to Butler, and it will feature pieces with themes of fire and water.
At the end of the concert, the audience members will be invited to linger and join the performers and others in a celebration that marks the conclusion of Butler Symphony Orchestra’s 70th season.
The event will include pieces written by Debussy, Stravinsky and Mahler, and the talents of baritone Timothy LeFebvre will also be included to round out the performance. All ages are welcome to attend the concert, and tickets to enjoy the show are on offer for $25 each.
The music is scheduled to begin at 3:00 pm, and Butler Intermediate High School has provided space for the occasion. Once the concert is over, the crowd will be welcome to stay and celebrate the past 70 years of bringing classical music and other entertainment to the Butler area. The event has been brought to the community thanks to the support of the Butler County Symphony Association, and a company that prints Letterheads and other Stationery can also supply printed programs and other items for this sort of occasion.
This farewell to another successful season has been planned by the symphony for April 14, and it will be taking place at 551 fairground Hill Road. More information can be found by contacting 724-283-1402.
