Woman of The Year to be announced next month

The “50 Making a Difference” has been announced by the Journal Record, and one woman from that list will be chosen as the 2022 Woman of the Year.

This will mark the 42nd year in which Oklahoma women who are standouts in leadership, professional achievements, and community commitment will be recognized, with one of the 50 nominees being selected as the Woman of the Year. This year, four of the 2022 honorees will receive an honor bestowed upon those who have been one of the “50 Making a Difference” for the third time – induction into the Circle of Excellence.

The 2022 Woman of the Year event will include the 24th annual Woman of the Year Forum, which will take place at 9:00 am at Oklahoma City Community College on October 20. The forum provides an opportunity for networking and idea exchanging for honorees and those they mentor.

The keynote speaker will be Susan Agel, who was formerly with Positive Tomorrows. The gala event will take place at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City at 6:00 pm on Thursday, October 20.
