Red Earth FallFest held in Oklahoma City

Local volunteers have announced that the Red Earth event will, once again, be held in Oklahoma City later this year.

The event is meant to honor and celebrate the extensive Native American culture that runs throughout the state.

As noted by event organizers, this comes as part of this year’s Indigenous People’s Day. It is a major festival that will feature arts and crafts, cultural information, and Promotional Products from local businesses that are either owned by Native Americans, or cater to the community. Interested individuals should attend this event to discover more about the Native American influence that remains in Oklahoma City.

This is one of a series of events that honors the Native American culture of Oklahoma, which includes the Red Earth summer series and Red Earth Treefest.

The event will be held on Saturday, October 14, with timings to be announced at a later date. It takes place in the Myriad Gardens, which is located at 301 W Reno Ave, Oklahoma City. There is no charge to attend, but visitors are welcome to donate funds towards the various Red Earth events as a way of giving back to the community.

While at the event, attendees should check out the various attractions of the Myriad Gardens, a 15-acre botanical garden located in the heart of Oklahoma City’s downtown.
