Oklahoma City chamber prepares for annual kickoff event

The Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce has announced that it will again be hosting a legislative kickoff.

This event, held annually, is meant to give Chamber members a chance to hear from top Senate and House leadership about the issues facing Oklahoma. It is also meant to further the Chamber’s mission to serve as a conduit between its members and local legislators.

The event will feature top legislative leadership from both Democrats and Republicans. Leadership on both sides of the aisle will discuss their priorities for the upcoming legislative session. There will also be time for questions and answers, giving Chamber members and event attendees the chance to directly air their views to legislators.

In addition to the speeches and question-and-answer portion of the event, there will be ample opportunity for business owners and employees to meet and mingle. As always, Chamber members are advised to bring a supply og Business Cards and be ready to connect with other local businesses.

The event will be held on Wednesday, January 25. Doors open at 7:30 am and the program will run from 8:00 am to 9:30 am. It takes place at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum, which is located at 1700 NE 63rd Street, Oklahoma City. Tickets are $50 for members and $75 for non-members.
