Rapper Tony ‘L.T.Z.’ LeSure of Oklahoma City will release his new album ‘Single's Awareness Day II’ later this month, with the track ‘Hit Me On My RAZR’ now uploaded to Soundcloud.
According to LeSure, the album is about heartbreak over a woman and getting back into another relationship. Its opening track expresses appreciation over the end of a relationship, while the second is about quickly ending the single life afterward and comparing the two relationships.
Cooki Turner, another local of Oklahoma City, adds her vocals in the included single ‘RAZR’. LeSure says the song came from boredom at work when he was perusing Bandcamp.com, a music streaming site. He found California teen musician Blvck Svnd, whose beats inspired him. The song is about having a phone on vibrate when your crush calls you, so you do not pick up the phone. LeSure admits it may be a corny idea for a track but could be a popular song for dancing. Having grown up with dance music, he wanted to add at least one dance song to the album.
There will be a release show for "SAD II" on February 12 at 9:00 pm, featuring LeSure, Chips, Frank Black, and Beetyman. Digital Business Cards are one way that these artists can keep each other's information on hand.
