The Oklahoma City Chamber of Commerce has planned a major workforce development conference at the beginning of May.
This full-day conference, entitled “Elevate,” is meant to help individuals group their own careers through a series of panel discussions, actionable takeaways, and by imparting useful knowledge.
However, the event is meant to help more than just individual business leaders. Elevate also has specific tracks that can helping businesses provide employees with workforce development options to boost their skillset. There will be specific breakout tracks meant to help teach business leaders how to improve their workforce culture and do a better job of retaining employees.
Chamber members will have the opportunity to purchase tickets for themselves, their employees, or a series of employees via their “boost package.” This package will provide for sponsorship recognition and more employee tickets.
In addition to the panel discussions and lectures, this Chamber event will have plenty of opportunities for local businesses to network, meet new connections, and work together. Chamber members are encouraged to come with an open mind, a network-oriented mindset, and Business Cards.
The event itself is being held on Tuesday, May 2. It is an all-day conference that starts at 8:00 am and ends at 5:30 pm. It will be at the Oklahoma City Convention Center, located at 100 Mick Cornett Drive.
