Book lovers dream comes to Oklahoma City next month

Once again Oklahoma City readers can indulge their passion as the annual Friends of the Metropolitan Library System book sale takes place at the Oklahoma Expo Hall on the OKC Fairgrounds.

The sale will offer over 800,000 Books, with some selling for a single dollar. Virtually every subject will be represented among the huge number of tomes being offered, including cookbooks, medical, romance, encyclopedias, biographies, Westerns, children’s, and foreign languages. Additionally, a large selection of DVDs, CDs, and audiobooks will be available for sale as well.

Banner printing services can be extremely helpful in reminding the public of one-time events as well as annual ones.

Those belonging to the Metropolitan Library System’s “Friends” will have the opportunity to shop February 25 from 9:00 am – 9:00 pm, a day earlier than the general public. Following the cut-off date of this Sunday, January 16, for requesting tickets by mail, patron tickets will be obtainable for pickup at will or on the event date. This year, memberships will not be available for purchase at the event.

All guests over the age of two and volunteers at this event will be required to wear masks due to concerns regarding COVID. The two-day book sale takes place 9:00 am – 5:30 pm on February 26 and 27. Admission is free. Proceeds from the book sale will be used to benefit the Metropolitan Library System.
