On January 22, three new officers joined the Youngstown Police Department.
The new recruits are Greg Tackett, who comes from Niles; Mike Manis, from Boardman; and Joshua Rivers who comes from Youngstown itself. The new law enforcement officers were sworn in by John McNally, Youngstown's mayor, and its police chief Robin Lees.
None of the positions that the three new hires will be filling are new, but are available because three officers have retired in the past two months. Tackett, Manis, and Rivers also all have previous experience in police work. According to the chief, the Youngstown Police Department will be hiring new officers throughout 2016.
The Department stresses that it maintains certain core values which helps it operate successfully. These include pride and commitment, which is reflected in the way the department values both its employees and the community it serves; professionalism; and service and excellence. The department also emphasizes the fact that its law enforcement personnel have a great responsibility to the citizens they serve, and they strive to treat everyone fairly under the law.
Police officials might work with a business card printing company to create appropriate cards for each of the new officers. They could also work with Stationery printers to provide individualized letterhead to the new hires, in keeping with the core value of professionalism.Get a Free Quote for Stationery
