A free science festival is coming up on the Youngstown events calendar for September, giving parents with children a fun way to inspire an interest in science within their little ones.
Silly Science Sunday will be coming to downtown Youngstown soon as part of the 16th Annual STREAM Festival, providing a day of fun and learning for children and their parents. The experience will be built around engaging and interactive demonstrations and exhibits that inspire a passion for science in children of all ages.
Over 30 STREAM exhibitors have announced that they will attend this year’s festival, and families can enjoy a stress-free visit because of the host site’s access to free parking. Banner printing can extend the reach of community events like this by generating impressions that encourage passersby to stop and check out what’s happening.
Local food trucks will be on site with beverages, snacks, and meals for families who want to enjoy a full day at the festival. Parents will want to bring their camera or phone to capture moments with their children through science-based discovery. Giveaways will also be handed out, offering the chance to leave with prizes.
The Raymond John Wean Foundation Park in Youngstown will be hosting Silly Science Sunday on Sunday, September 13. It will be open from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. Admission is free and open to the public.
