A community celebration is making a triumphant return to Youngstown this summer, giving residents a chance to come together for a day of fun, food, and family.
McGuffey Day tickets have officially gone on sale online, and Youngstown residents and families will want to mark the date on their Calendars and build the traditional celebration into their summer plans. The event, which is a celebration of togetherness and memories, was established in 1926, and this year’s event will be a culmination of 100 years of local history.
Organizers have arranged for several memorable happenings on this year’s McGuffey Day. Automotive enthusiasts will get to enjoy the Touch-a-Truck segment, and local entertainers and musicians will perform to provide laughs and the soundtrack to what could be a day filled with new experiences. Banner printing is a fabulous way to welcome visitors to community festivals like this, with the blank space offering an area for sponsors to place their logos and generate impressions.
Families with children can visit the family activities station to bond with their little ones. Food trucks will also be on hand with light bites, treats, and refreshing beverages.
McGuffey Centre, located in Youngstown, will be the host site for this year’s celebrations. The festival opens at 11:00 AM and ends at 8:00 PM on Saturday, August 15th. Tickets are free online.
