Renaissance gala raises funds in Youngstown
A Youngstown gala is set to welcome interested parties who want to take a trip back in time to the 1920s to raise money for a good cause.
The Harlem Renaissance Gala and Art Fundraiser is set to open its doors to Youngstown residents who want to enjoy the finer things in life and experience a different time period while raising money. The event will feature 1920s jazz music, local art, and a celebration of Black culture that can be traced back to Harlem, New York.
The gala is being organized to raise money to support single mothers finding their footing and building their independence. The gathering will begin with a whiskey tasting to break the ice before leading into the art preview. Banner printing is an impressive way to welcome attendees to such galas and fundraisers while promoting the sponsors.
The Invisible Woman Collective is organizing this year’s gala and will feature live music performed by the Beck Ward Project, spoken word poetry, and an art auction. Guests will have access to small dishes and craft cocktails included with the ticket price, and are asked to drink responsibly.
The Concept Studio in the JR Building in Youngstown will host the gala and art fundraiser. It is scheduled for Thursday, July 17th, from 6:00 to 10:00 PM. General admission tickets cost $64.26 online.
