The Ohio Wine Producers Association had made the decision to reschedule their annual Winter Wine Affair until March as a result of COVID concerns.
Originally, the Affair had been slated for January 15, but the latest coronavirus surge convinced the Ohio Wine Producers Association to hold the tasting a couple of months further into 2022. The January event had 11 Northeast Ohio wineries lined up to participate at Youngstown’s Stambaugh Auditorium.
The wine tasting, which is now set to take place on Sunday, March 13, will include a variety of vendors, cheese plates, and live music. In addition to tasting, attendees will be able to purchase bottles to take home with them.
Many social events where a large eclectic crowd will be gathered offer excellent sites for networking, so it is always a good idea to have plenty of Business Cards on hand.
A change has been made to this year’s format; the event will feature one session as opposed to the traditional two sessions. Tasting will take place from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
General admission is $25 in advance of the event or $30 at the door and gives the ticket holder a wine glass and five hours of sampling. VIP ticket holders are admitted an hour earlier at 1:00 pm and receive a tote, coupons, and a tasting booklet as bonus items. VIP tickets are limited and cost $35 purchased in advance and $40 at the door, if any are available. Get a Free Quote for Business Cards
