The name change is in recognition of the 94-year-old Rossi’s establishment of the Atty. Daniel L. Rossi Scholarship with his generous $300,000 gift to the school that will assists full-time YSU students. The Rossi family made the following statement:
“The scholarship for YSU students represents one of the core values of what we believe is so important: Education. Daniel is honored to contribute to the education of our future leaders.”
A lifelong Youngstown resident, Rossi was a student at the former Madison Elementary School and East High School. After high school Rossi went into the Navy and after he was discharged, he earned his degree from Youngstown College, now YSU. He then studied law at Ohio Northern University and earned his law degree.
Consulting with a business card printing service is one of the exciting follow-ups to graduating from a university, law school or medical school; even more so if the former student can include their own business or firm or practice on their card.
In 1952, Rossi established the Rossi law firm and practiced law in the area for more than six decades. The family firm is now Rossi & Rossi, and Daniel’s son Gregg is running the firm.
