This will be the fifth year of the event. State funding running into seven figures, as well as the activation of a number of local policies that have benefited the Valley, have resulted from previous years’ Columbus Drive-Ins. According to the Reginal Chamber news release, the 2022 Drive-In will zero in on Ohio’s soon-to-be-announced capital budget, along with the Youngstown Air Reserve Station’s continued support.
The chamber’s government affairs vice-president, Ryan McNaughton, was quoted by the Business Journal Daily as saying:
“State leaders have come to realize the powerful voice the Mahoning Valley possesses over the past half-decade. We look forward to continue building off the momentum generated from past events.”
A brochure printing service can assist in explaining a project to the public in preparation for gaining its support.
An estimated 75 to 80 civic leaders in the Mahoning Valley will participate in a series of meetings to advocate with influential Ohio policymakers. The advocacy opportunity for Chamber members will cost $250 per person and $500 for non-members.
Participants have the choice of driving to Columbus or taking a chartered bus to the Ohio Theatre in Columbus on the day of the event, which is February 9.
