East Liverpool residents to get free roof repairs
The residents of East Liverpool will be able to get vital home repairs done at no cost.
This program is open to low-income homeowners in the area, and they will be able to get their failing roofs replaced or fixed. This program is possible thanks to a partnership formed between the Youngstown Neighborhood Development Corporation and the city of East Liverpool.
The announcement was made in a news release put out by Ian Beniston, who is the executive director of the Youngstown Neighborhood Development Corporation. The release expressed how excited the YNDC is to be working with officials from the city of East Liverpool to improve the quality of housing for those who cannot afford costly yet vital repairs. A press release is likely to feature the logo design of the organization that published it.
East Liverpool’s mayor, Greg Bicker, expressed his delight with the project by saying:
The groundwork for this project was laid in 2021 with the completion of a citywide study on the quality of the city’s housing. The city used the information gained from the study to move forward with plans to improve housing quality and deal with blight.
