Youngstown State University’s (YSU) only fundraising group, the YSU Foundation, has recently announced that it has welcomed Tracy Schuler Vivo to serve in the capacity of Cliffe College of Creative Arts development officer.
Shuler Vivo’s resumé listed her background in both education and the arts. She is a YSU Theater and Telecommunications Department graduate, as well as a graduate of the Dana School of Music. Moreover, she is a Dance Masters of America graduate certified in dance education with an Ashland University master’s in education leadership.
She has spent time in almost 40 countries as a director, choreographer, and performer with TLS Productions Inc., which is her own production company. Additionally, Shuler Vivo has worked for Royal Caribbean International, Paramount Pictures, the European tour of The Phantom of the Opera, and Nickelodeon, as well as serving as a consultant on Tony Award-winning Broadway musicals.
Among the items Shuler Vivo can list on her Business Cards are her position as a Screen Actors Guild member and her participation in the equity association of the American Federation of Radio and Television. She is also a licensed and certified K-12 administrator.
For the 10 years prior to joining the YSU Foundation, Schuler Vivo has been the director or coordinator of the Youngstown City School District’s visual and performing arts.
