Jim Tressel, YSU president, made the following statement:
“We are excited to bring our nationally recognized annual arts festival to this new community park along the Mahoning River. We hope this move will help further grow the festival and will also help further introduce the community to this beautiful new downtown recreational area.”
A banner printing company can be utilized to remind the public of upcoming events, as well as direct them to a change in venue.
Starting in 1999, the YSU Summer Festival of the Arts draws approximately 15,000 visitors each year to see the work of over 80 artists. Admission is free to the 2021 festival, which will take place July 17 to 18.
The arts festival will continue to include various children’s activities, performing artists, and cultural and ethnic institutions.
