Medina organization's Halloween party a success

A Halloween party held recently at a boarding facility and doggy daycare center was described by Cleveland.com as a “howling success.”

Medina Creative Pet Play was the site of the festivities, in which both two-legged and four-legged friends got together for a “Howl-o-ween” party. The event brought everyone together, some in costume (both animals and humans) to celebrate the success of Pet Play, and the achievements of its workers, many of whom have disabilities. This is the fifth year for the event. Banner printing can be used to create decorations for events like this.

Games, refreshments, raffles, and costume contests were all part of the day, which also included a lot of interaction among visitors. Since the facility throws parties throughout the year for various holidays, many guests knew each other. Even so, Medina Creative Pet Play keeps growing.

Medina Creative Housing's CEO, Dianne DePasquale-Hagerty, said the city has truly embraced the program, which has proven to be a great asset. Medina Creative Housing is a nonprofit organization that helped launch what has become a successful business.

Medina Creative Pet Play is a vocational training program, one of 11 run by Medina Creative Housing. It helps employees develop their social and vocation skills so they will be able to adapt to situations outside Pet Play. It offers daycare, grooming, boarding, and retail services, selling items such as dog biscuits produced in conjunction with the hydroponic greenhouse run by the organization.
