Medina residents are gearing up to conclude summer with a kick in August with the help of a public event known as Summer's Last Stand. This open-air festival has been going strong since 1988, and this year's concert is predicted to attract a considerable audience.
Summer's Last Stand was initially inspired by the Monsters of Rock Tour, and it offers plenty of well-known tribute bands. On-stage performances this August include:
- Right Now (a Van Halen tribute band)
- Under Dokken Key
- The Band That Should Not Be
Performers dedicated to other groups such as Metallica and The Scorpions will likewise be present.
Concerts such as this adopt several strategies to advertise what awaits. Graphics using professional logo designs, printed Flyers, and Posters will all keep the public informed.
In addition to live music, Summer's Last Stand offers additional on-site amenities such as games, and a selection of refreshments. Note that all ages are welcome to attend; this is a family-friendly concert.
Tickets will need to be purchased in advance, and prices begin at $17.85. Summer's Last Stand is being hosted by the Medina County Fair located at 720 West Smith Road. It will take place on Saturday August 23rd from 2 PM to 10:30 PM. More information can be obtained by visiting the Medina County Fair website.
