Medina to buzz thanks to community festival

Bees serve an extremely important environmental role, and yet, many of us do not appreciate the benefits they provide. Medina will soon be offering a hands-on seminar intended to shed some light on these helpful creatures, and to dispel a handful of myths.

The 2026 Medina Bee Festival is a family-friendly event providing a great deal of useful information for the entire family. While this celebration may be geared towards the younger generation of Medina residents, all ages are welcome to attend.

Some of the events that are expected to take place throughout the day include an unveiling of a large beehive, balloon art provided by a local personality named Nate the Great, and a show-and-tell session associated with the art of beekeeping. Guests should also be aware that certain attractions may be moved indoors if the weather does not cooperate.

Events associated with ecological and/or environmental themes will often turn to sustainable marketing techniques. Some possible examples include banner printing on recycled paper, producing Flyers from previous waste products, and using the online community to spread relevant details.

The 2026 Medina Bee Festival is set to be held on Saturday, July 18th from 11 AM to 2:30 PM. All activities are taking place within the Medina County District Library located at 210 South Broadway Street. Everyone is welcome to attend this event for free.
