Medina to celebrate its past this September

The City of Medina boasts a rich history that can be traced as far back as 1818, which is one of the reasons why residents will be attending the latest Spirits of the Past festival taking place in early autumn.

The Spirits of the Past celebration has been a staple of the Medina community for more than two decades. Its primary intention is to provide attendees with a unique glimpse of this city in its early days by participating in a walking tour.

Those who attend can also enjoy reenactments with the help of local actors, offering another way to obtain a hands-on feel for the history of Medina.

Walking festivals will employ a handful of methods to keep the public informed. Local Print shops can be used to create Flyers, Brochures, and similar Stationery. Online advertisements are another strategy to provide updates as the date draws closer.

The 2025 Medina Spirits of the Past walking tour is taking place between September 4 and September 6. Tours depart every 10 minutes between 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM. Tickets cost $7 for adults, and $4 for children over the age of three. All excursions will begin at the Medina County Administration building located at 144 N. Broadway. More details can be found on the website of the Medina County Arts Council.
