A night of fun is on the schedule in the Dayton suburb of Kettering, thanks to three guys with the same name.
The Three Mikes will be appearing at the wonderfully named Nowhere in Particular Cabinet of Curiosities on Wilmington Pike. The three comedians are Mike Wells, Mike “Vander” Vanderveen, and Mr. Mike Shea. The host for the evening will be Nolan Kreeger.
The Three Mikes are all stand-up comedians, all from Dayton, and are all buddies who just so happen to all be named Mike. In addition to live performances, they offer weekly podcasts. Their material is free-ranging and resembles the type of conversation that takes place when good friends get together and talk.
They may discuss current events, the quirks of human behavior, or veer into a discussion of something random, but they always do so with wisdom, as well as wit. They also tend to dig a little deeper into the issues audiences might expect of stand-up comedians, but they do so in a light-hearted way that keeps things friendly, not combative. Everyone will find something of value in their observations.
The Three Mikes will bring the laughs as well as more insightful comments to their audience on Sunday, November 12. When events like this are scheduled, organizers can use flyer printing to create handouts to distribute locally, announcing the show.
