Williston Park to host party band

There will be music in Williston Park soon, complemented with plenty of food.

FiveStone will appear at Memories Bar & Grill soon. The group is a party band that plays a variety of rock, dance, Top 40, pop, and classic tunes. Depending on the occasion and the desire of the venue, the band will provide from five to eight musicians for events in larger venues, such as weddings and corporate meetings.

A small trio comprised of a vocalist, pianist, and guitarist bring the band's sound to smaller venues, such as restaurants. All of the group's members are professional musicians, and its sound system is state-of-the-art. Among the artists whose works they cover are Blondie, Madonna, Janis Joplin, Pink, Joan Jett, Fleetwood Mac, Bruce Springsteen, Tom Petty, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, the Rolling Stones, and the Beatles.

Memories Bar & Grill opened in 2000, and was featured recently on the television show “Restaurant Hunters.” The establishment compares itself to the fictional “Cheers,” offering a warm welcome to patrons. The restaurant caters to those 25 and older, and features weekly events such as sports and live music. Football fans can watch the NFL games here.
