Fencing clinic helps Williston Park participants sharpen skills

A summer fencing clinic is being organized near Williston Park ‌this summer, allowing enthusiasts and athletes a setting to sharpen skills and elevate their abilities.

The Garden City Summer Fencing Clinic, which is being presented by Grateful Kids Clubs, has announced the official date for parents and their children to build the learning opportunity into their upcoming plans. The clinic aims to provide a positive and welcoming environment where local children can discover a passion for fencing while making new friendships.

The clinic will be an in-person learning event, with participating children learning through immersive and hands-on activities that will help them learn new skills and build confidence with fencing. It is open to beginners, as well as experienced athletes who want to iron out the weaknesses in their skillsets. Marketing approaches like poster printing can promote clinics like this to parents through grassroots impressions, providing information about where and when they will be held.

In addition to instruction, participants at the clinic will get to try out friendly competitions to put their new skills to the test. All necessary equipment will be provided to enrolled students.

The clinic will run from Monday, July 20 through Friday, July 24, starting at 12:30 PM each afternoon. It will be held at St. Paul’s Recreation Complex in nearby Garden City. Registration costs $535.28 per student online.
