Community bike ride brings Williston Park together

A community bike ride has been announced as an upcoming community event in Williston Park, with the goal of bringing the town together for a safer place to live.

The National Night Out: Bike Parade, presented by the Williston Park Police Department and Community, will provide space for community members of all ages to break out their bikes, scooters, and tricycles for a community ride. The parade is part of a nationwide initiative to create safe communities for children. Younger children can also be pushed in strollers to participate in this year’s gathering.

This year’s guest speaker will be a police officer from the 3rd Precinct of the police department. Community members will be able to meet with the police officer to strengthen bonds between citizens and law enforcement. Banner printing is an effective way to generate impressions on passersby at such events while welcoming attendees and participants.

The event will feature free food options, a scavenger hunt, games, and other giveaways for guests to enjoy. Snow cones will be available through Creekside Water and Ice. Interested parties are encouraged to invite family, friends, and neighbors to bring Williston Park together.

The gathering will be held on the evening of Tuesday, August 5th, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, at Davidson Park in Williston Park. Attendance is free, and interested parties can learn more online.
